Thanks to Deltec Homes; the orginal green builder the Mountain Sports Festival is getting a GREEN make-over in 2010.
Deltec Homes builds unique green homes while making 100% of their products locally and promoting/using renewable energy. Pretty incredible huh?
MSF will also be offering incentives for folks to ride their bikes to the festival. We’ll be giving away a Kelty Tent and other great prizes to out bike-commuters! Also, bikers will have free storage during festival hours in the Asheville on Bikes corrals at the village.
Of course we will be serving our delicious beers from kegs in Compostable Cups; saving tons of cans & bottles from having to be recycled. So… drinking a beer out of a Compostable Cup is a good thing – why not get two!
MSF always offers recycling at the festival & encourages our food vendors to use responsible packaging.
